Cherrie is a fluid AI strength and fitness coaching presence that fits into your life, your habits, your body and your schedule, so high-level accountability finally has a permanent place in your daily routine, even on the days you’d rather skip.
Free 12-week beta from January 4 · 100 places · fully refundable $21 deposit
A week with Cherrie
“Am I just not built for this?”
You download the apps, buy the programs, prep your meals, and for a while you’re all in. Then work runs late, your energy dips, today’s session slides to tomorrow, and one missed day turns into a week. Or you keep showing up and nothing seems to change.
The problem isn’t discipline—it’s a blueprint that refuses to bend when you do. Most plans are built for a perfect week: the same time, the same energy and the same body, every day. And the coach who could adjust your plan with you isn’t there at 11pm when the plan falls apart.
It tells you what to do, not how to succeed. When your week changes, you’re on your own.
Agile planning that changes as soon as your life does, and accountability that’s there 24/7.
Someone to keep you on track, when they’re available.
What a high-level coach saves you from
It’s been a week since I heard from you. Tell me how you’re doing in the app, so we can get you back on track.
Still on for today’s session? 20 minutes counts. Reply GO, LATER or SKIP.
I’d go with four 30-minute sessions: the same lifts in shorter sessions, so a busy day doesn’t cost you a whole one. Or we can plan next week around the busy days.
A weight goes up when you hit the top of its rep range on every set, with the reps in reserve it asks for. Until then it holds. That’s the rule, not a judgment on you.
Trackers and wearables can’t assess the full picture of your life: your deadlines, your family, or why you barely slept. Tell Cherrie what’s going on, ask it to coach you through it, and it plans from there. Wearables will come later, as a supportive layer, not a foundational one.
What if it knew you needed a lighter week before you had to ask, and understood your cultural values instead of ignoring them?
Your cycle, perimenopause, PCOS, a thyroid condition, diabetes or a GLP-1 changes how it coaches you, too, based on what you tell it.
Choose how you eat and its nutrition guidance comes from it. Nothing is assumed about you. Describe what you ate the way you’d say it, and Cherrie works out the macros so you stay on track.
Choose as many as you like. Tap a foodway to add it to your plate, and again to take it off.
One 24/7 AI strength and fitness coach that plans with intention and proactively holds you accountable—no time wasted waiting for a response or guessing your next move.
Five minutes on your goals, your week, your body, your food and how you’d like to be spoken to on a hard week. It remembers the rest—the knee that flares up on lunges, the Sundays that keep getting busy—and reaches out before a session with a note fitted to your day.
Your training goes on the days that work for you, for the time you have, with what you’ve got to train with, next to the runs and classes already in your week.
Cherrie builds a 12-week program from your answers and finds your real weights in your first week. Your weights go up when you’ve earned them and come down when you need it. Or keep the program you love, and Cherrie coaches you through it as written.
Tell it how you slept, how you feel or what changed, any hour of the day, in the app. Your plan changes the same day within minutes, and when you start a session, it’s right there with you.
When your food, sleep or training drift from what you told it you want, Cherrie says what it sees, why it matters for your goal and the next step, then checks back the next day. No drill sergeant, no lectures. And if you go quiet, a nudge on day 3 and a check-in on day 7.
When you join, you’re not just getting early access. You’re getting a voice in what Cherrie becomes.
If you choose to stay, we’ll keep the web app running for you at $9.99 a month.
No credit card required to join the waitlist. US only, and not yet in California, Washington, Nevada or Connecticut.
We email the whole waitlist at once, and the $21 deposit secures your place.
Your account, your plan and your first week.
Everyone starts together.
Tell us what works and what doesn’t. It goes straight to the founder.
To your card, whether you stay or not. Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to clear in your account.
So every place goes to someone who’ll use it. The first 100 women to pay get a place, and once you’ve paid, you’re in. It isn’t tied to how often you train, and it’s always yours, even if you leave early. Go quiet and Cherrie checks in after 3 days, then 7. The 100th payment closes the beta list. The waitlist stays open for news of more places and the launch.
Yes, to everyone, at the same time: it comes back to your card on March 29, when the 12 weeks are up, whether you stay, stop or leave early.
Only what you choose. We’ll keep the web app running at $9.99 a month if you’d like to stay, or you can stop. Either way, your deposit goes back to you. When the iOS and Android versions launch at standard pricing, the web app closes. If you’re subscribed then, as a small token of our thanks, you keep $9.99 a month in the app for as long as you stay subscribed.
We are strictly limiting our 12-week closed beta because we refuse to treat you like a metric. More importantly, we want to hear from every single woman in this group because your voice shapes the future of what Cherrie becomes. It’s one cohort, starting together on January 4, and the beta list closes at the 100th place.
It fits your training into your real week and changes today’s session when your day changes: shorter, lighter or moved, with nothing to catch up on. It reaches out before a session, nudges you if you haven’t started and checks in after, at the times you choose. At your weekly check-in, it’s honest about what’s holding you back, then checks back the next day. Go quiet, and it checks in after 3 days, then 7.
By how you feel, how you move and how you look in the mirror: all three, not one or the other. Your check-ins track your energy, sleep and recovery. Your progress shows each lift from your first session to now, and Cherrie tells you each new best. If you choose, it tracks your weight and measurements toward your goal, and holding steady there is progress too. Every week shows whether you trained.
Most apps hand you a library of workouts and a calendar. Cherrie works like a live map that reroutes when the traffic changes: tell it what changed, and your plan changes the same day. At its core is the Cultural Attunement Engine, so every answer starts from your life, your body, your food and your week. And if you already love another program, Cherrie coaches that one too.
Cherrie is an AI strength and fitness coach, and it will never pretend to be a person. It works from every session you’ve logged and everything you’ve told it. It’s fitness coaching, not medical care: it can’t assess an injury or diagnose anything, and when that’s what you need, it tells you who can.
It’s for you if you’re a woman who wants to build functional, aesthetic, real-world strength without the burnout. You’re looking for a holistic, empathetic coach that understands your body’s natural rhythms, celebrates your cultural identity and integrates into your real life. Whether you follow Cherrie’s own plan or a program you already love, Cherrie directs you through it all. You don’t need a gym, or to lift already.
Who Cherrie is not for:
• Individuals under 18 years old. Cherrie’s coaching assumes an adult body.
• Anyone currently pregnant. Pregnancy carries its own risks, which Cherrie isn’t equipped to handle.
If either is you, Cherrie will guide you to the right external resources for personalized support. After giving birth, Cherrie coaches you only with your doctor’s OK to resume training. There’s no set timeline, because every pregnancy and recovery is different.
No. You don’t need a gym or to lift already, and Cherrie reads no device: you tell it how you feel. Cherrie’s plan is built from what you have: a full gym, a basic gym, dumbbells at home, or bands and bodyweight. Change your equipment and your plan changes with it.
Get notified the moment our beta spots open. Joining is free, with no credit card. We'll only ever email you about Cherrie.
Your name and email are used only to tell you about Cherrie. No health information is collected here. Leave the list any time, in one click.
By joining the waitlist, you agree to our and .
The beta doesn't include California, Washington, Nevada or Connecticut yet.
What Coached by Cherrie collects about your health, why, who else touches it, and what you can do about it — in plain words, without marketing.
Coached by Cherrie is a fitness coaching service. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prescribe. That also means the information you share isn't covered by HIPAA, the US law for doctors and hospitals — which is exactly why we set out our own commitments here and hold ourselves to them.
Only what you choose to tell us. When you set up your account, you check a box to agree that Cherrie uses the health information you give, including about your menstrual cycle, to shape your training — that's the service you're signing up for. We keep the words you agreed to and the date, and Settings shows a summary of them with the date. Which answers you give is always up to you.
Health questions. Some come during setup and the rest during your first week, one or two at a time. Each one says why it's asked, and each can be answered "I'd rather not say":
A safety check before your first session. A short set of standard questions — heart, chest pain, dizziness, long-term conditions and medication. If any apply, you'll be asked to check in with your doctor before training.
The basics of any training plan. Your age range, your sleep, and a typical day of eating — asked during your first week.
For the beta's one question. Whether Cherrie's accountability keeps women consistent. In your first week, Cherrie asks how many of the 12 weeks before the beta you worked out at least once; in week 12, how those weeks compared with before, and what kept you showing up. Each can be answered "I'd rather not say," and we only ever see the answers as totals, never from fewer than 20 women. Each week, we also count how many times you trained and how many sessions your plan had, and whether you stayed in touch with Cherrie in a week you didn't train: only that you answered your check-in, told Cherrie you were skipping, replied to a quiet-day note or logged your steps, never what you said.
As you use Cherrie. Your training logs, your weekly check-in scores for sleep, stress, energy and recovery, and anything you tell Cherrie in conversation.
If you send feedback. What you write in Beta feedback comes to us, with your email, so we can reply. Only you decide what's in it, and it's deleted when you delete your account.
Only if you turn on texts. Your mobile number, confirmed with a code; when you agreed to texts and the wording you agreed to; and any replies you send. Texts only ever say what you're training and when, a nudge to start or to log it, that your check-in is due, that it's been a few days since you used Cherrie, or that Cherrie has a note for you, never your health. Reply STOP and they stop.
If you post in Cherrie's Corner. Every signed-in member of the beta can see what you post there, under the display name you choose; the public and search engines can't. A post that looks like it mentions self-harm, disordered eating or a crisis is held for us to read before anyone else sees it, and Cherrie sends you a private message with ways to get support. Photos in Cherrie's Corner aren't for health details: its rules keep out body comparisons, scale readings and measurements, and a photo Cherrie isn't sure about, or one that looks like it shows self-harm, waits for us to see it first. Progress photographs you keep for yourself, with body composition, are separate: they stay private to you and are never posted to Cherrie's Corner. If you let Cherrie share a tip, it passes on what you wrote, without your name, to members in a similar situation. You choose this when you post the tip; to stop it being passed on, delete the post. A tip already passed on stays, without your name, in the conversations it was passed to. Deleting your account deletes your posts and replies.
What Cherrie looks for. Cherrie looks for patterns in what you log and what you tell it in Coach — days that keep getting missed, sessions running short, an ache you've mentioned more than once — so it can suggest changes. To understand your messages it uses keywords and, when it can be reached, the same AI that writes its replies. It never reads anything about food or weight for this, and nothing changes unless you say yes. Everything it has found is listed on the You tab, where you can stop any of it.
Only if you log it. In the Cycle tab: your answer to Which describes your cycle right now?, the dates your periods start and end, and how you feel day to day. All of it is optional, none of it ever appears on your lock screen, and you can remove any entry, or everything at once.
Only if you log it, in Nutrition. What you eat and drink, with its calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sugar, saturated fat, sodium, calcium and iron worked out from the US Department of Agriculture's food data, or taken from a food's label when you add one of your own; your water; the steps you type in; and the goals you set there: a calorie goal, how your macros split, the nutrients you choose to track, your activity level and when you usually eat. All of it is optional, and you can change or remove any entry. Cherrie uses it to coach your food and your day, and the AI that writes its replies is told your day's totals, your goals and your activity level when you talk to it.
Only if you turn it on. Body composition — weight, measurements (bust, waist and hips) and progress photographs — and a weight or measurement goal if you set one, with your height, so Cherrie can check the goal is realistic for your body. It's off by default, has its own switch, and is never used to score you.
Only if you film a set. Before your first one, you agree once to how Cherrie watches. When you film a set for Cherrie to watch, your phone measures it — your reps, how long each took, how deep you went, the weight's path, and how your knees and hips moved — and only those measurements and Cherrie's answer are kept, with your sessions. The video stays on your phone; the points the model finds on your head are used only to blur your face in the stills, and are thrown away as each frame is read; and nothing from your video is used to recognize you or to judge your body.
If we ever want to use your health information for something new, we'll ask you first. We won't assume.
Your training, for every member. Our let us learn from members' training, with names taken off: the sessions done, shortened and skipped, the weights lifted, which changes to a plan kept women training, and which quiet-day notes were followed by a session. It's how Cherrie learns which plans keep women training and getting stronger. A change made because of something you told Cherrie about your health, like a lighter session for your cycle or one that works around pain, counts as one of your health answers, so it's used only if you say yes.
Your health answers, only if you say yes. If you check the box at sign-up, or turn it on in Settings, we also use your health answers the same way: your cycle and periods, symptoms, a GLP-1 medication, pain and injuries, your digestion, your check-ins, the foods you log, the topics you ask Cherrie about, and the changes made to your plan because of any of them. Saying no changes nothing about your coaching, and you can change your mind in Settings at any time.
How we look at it. Your name, email and anything else that says who you are come off first. We only ever look at totals: never one woman's record, never a total from fewer than 20 women, and never one that could be worked out by subtracting one total from another. We don't read your conversations for this: we count the topics members ask about. Your body composition, progress photos and posts in Cherrie's Corner are never used.
What we learn can change Cherrie's rules, its food list and what it knows. Each change is checked against published research first, and nothing changes on its own. It's never sold, used for ads or shared with anyone for their own purposes, and it's never used to train AI models.
A small number of companies process information on our behalf, only to run Coached by Cherrie and only under contract:
While your account is open, so Cherrie can keep coaching you. When you delete your account, your health information is deleted straight away, and it's gone from our backups within 30 days, except anything the law requires us to keep.
Period dates and cycle logs are kept while your account is open, until you delete them.
Form check measurements, and Cherrie's answers, are kept with your sessions until you delete them in Settings, or your account; the app keeps your last 30.
Your health answers come out of what we look at to make Cherrie better as soon as you turn your yes off, and everything of yours as soon as you delete your account.
Email hello@coachedbycherrie.com for any of these. We'll reply within 30 days, and we'll never treat you differently for asking.
Coached by Cherrie is for adults aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger, and if we learn we have, we delete it.
During the beta, Coached by Cherrie is available in the United States except California, Washington, Nevada and Connecticut.
We'll tell you before we change how we handle your health information — and if a change means using it in a new way, we'll ask you first.
The agreement between you and us for using Coached by Cherrie during the beta, in plain words.
These terms are an agreement between you and Renna Labs, LLC ("we" and "us"), which runs Coached by Cherrie. They cover the waitlist, the beta, the app and this site. By joining the waitlist, paying the deposit or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Cherrie. How we handle your information is in our and our ; please read them too.
You must be 18 or older. Coached by Cherrie is designed for adults, and its coaching assumes an adult body and adult judgment. When you set up your account, you confirm that you are 18 or over, in a box you check yourself. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we will close it and delete the information associated with it.
You must live in the United States. During the beta, Coached by Cherrie is not available in California, Washington, Nevada or Connecticut. When you set up your account, you choose the state you live in and confirm, in a box you check yourself, that you live there; you can't choose a state where Coached by Cherrie isn't available.
What you agreed to is kept. When you set up your account, you also check a box to agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy, and one to agree that Cherrie uses the health information you give, including about your menstrual cycle, to shape your training. A last box, which you don't have to check, lets us also use your health answers, with your name taken off, to help make Cherrie better for every woman; you can change it in Settings at any time. We keep the words you agreed to, your state and the date, and Settings shows a summary of them with your state and the date. If we change those words in a way that matters, the app asks you again before you carry on, and keeps your earlier answer too.
You must be able to agree to these terms — that is, legally able to enter into an agreement on your own behalf.
Before your first session, you complete a health screening questionnaire. If your answers indicate that you should get medical clearance before exercising, you need that clearance before training with Cherrie.
If any of this stops being true — you move to a state where Coached by Cherrie isn't available, for example — please tell us, so we can close your account properly.
Cherrie is an AI. Coached by Cherrie is a strength and fitness coaching service, and Cherrie, the coach in the app, is openly artificial intelligence: no person writes your plan or Cherrie's replies. Its replies are written by AI, using what you've told it and the knowledge built into the app. When the AI can't be reached, the app answers from its own rules, and says so.
It isn't medical care. Cherrie doesn't diagnose, treat or prescribe, and isn't a substitute for your doctor, a physical therapist, a registered dietitian or a mental health professional. When something sounds like it needs one of them, Cherrie says so.
It isn't for pregnancy, which carries its own risks that Cherrie isn't equipped to handle. Cherrie will tell you who to ask. After you've given birth, Cherrie coaches you once your doctor has said you're ready to train again. There's no set time for that, because every pregnancy and recovery is different.
It isn't for emergencies. If you're hurt or unwell, call 911. If you're in crisis, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. For support with eating, call the National Alliance for Eating Disorders helpline at 1-866-662-1235.
Answer the health screening honestly, and if it says to get medical clearance, get it before you train. When something changes — an injury, a pregnancy, a new diagnosis or medication — update your answers in the app, so your training changes with it.
Stop if something feels wrong. Stop training and get help if you feel chest pain, faintness, unusual shortness of breath, or pain that's sharp or getting worse. That call is always yours to make, in the moment, whatever the plan says.
Train within your limits. You're responsible for choosing weights you can control, using equipment safely and as its maker instructs, and training somewhere safe. Cherrie can't supervise you while you train.
Strength training carries risk, including injury, even when it's done well and well coached: strains, sprains, falls, dropped weights and, rarely, something more serious. By choosing to train, you accept those risks. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for an injury that comes from them, though nothing here excuses our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or anything else the law doesn't let us exclude.
Food and weight. Nutrition guidance in the app is general, and its numbers come from public US government food data or the labels you add. It isn't a diet for a medical condition. Cherrie never suggests a calorie goal under 1,200 calories a day, and if you have a condition that affects what you eat, follow your doctor's or a registered dietitian's advice.
Joining the waitlist is free, with no credit card. It tells us you're interested; it doesn't hold a place.
The beta has 100 places, and paying the deposit is what secures one. When places open, we email everyone on the waitlist at the same time, and the first 100 women to pay a $21 deposit through our payment processor get a place. Before you pay, our places page asks which state you live in; if the beta isn't available there yet, it tells you so and doesn't take you to the payment. Once you've paid, the place is yours. The beta list closes after the 100th payment, or when the 12 weeks start, whichever comes first: the last day to pay is Sunday, January 3, 2027, wherever you are in the United States. A payment made after that, from 5am New York time on January 4, 2027 (midnight in Hawaii), can't get a place: we refund it right away and email you to say so. The waitlist stays open, and we email it if more places open and when the iOS and Android apps launch.
Everyone starts together. You can set up your account from Monday, December 28, 2026, and the beta's 12 weeks run from Monday, January 4, to Sunday, March 28, 2027.
The beta itself is free. The deposit isn't a fee, and it has nothing to do with how often you train, log or check in. If you go quiet, Cherrie checks in with you after 3 days and again after 7, and nothing else changes: your place and your deposit stay yours.
At the end of your 12 weeks, we refund it, and everyone's goes back at the same time. On Monday, March 29, 2027, we send all $21 back to the card you paid with, whether or not you keep using Cherrie, and whether you stayed for the 12 weeks, left early, deleted your account or had it closed by us. There's nothing to choose and nothing to ask for. If we end the beta early, everyone's goes back then.
A payment that doesn't get a place goes back straight away. If the beta isn't available where you live, you pay a second time, you pay after we've removed you from the beta, you're under 18, or you pay after the last day to pay, we refund that payment right away, without waiting for March 29, and email you to say why.
How refunds work. Your refund goes to the card you paid with: on March 29, 2027, or, for a payment that doesn't get a place, within 5 business days of when we receive it, or of when we learn you're under 18. Your bank can take 5 to 10 business days to show it. You get the full $21: we pay the processor's fees. If your card can't take the refund, we'll email you to arrange another way. Your deposit can't be transferred to anyone else, and it earns no interest.
After the beta: the web app. If you'd like to keep using Cherrie after your 12 weeks, the web app is $9.99 a month. You're only charged if you subscribe yourself. Before you do, the sign-up page shows the price, that it renews every month on the day you subscribed until you cancel, and how to cancel, and you agree to that by checking a box yourself; then we email you the same terms, with how to cancel, to keep. You can cancel online at any time, in Settings, as easily as you subscribed: you're not charged again, and you keep the web app until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part of a month, unless the law requires it. If the price or another important term changes, we'll email you between 5 business days and 30 days before it does, saying what changes, how to cancel and the last day to cancel before it applies to you, and you won't be charged a higher price unless you agree to it.
When the iOS and Android apps launch, at their standard price, the web app closes and its subscription ends, with no more charges. If you're subscribed when it closes, you can move over to the iOS or Android app, billed by the app store you use, under its terms. If you had a place in the beta, you keep $9.99 a month there for as long as you stay subscribed; if you cancel, the price ends, and it can't be passed to anyone else. Otherwise, your first 3 months there are $9.99 a month, then the apps' standard price, which you'll see before you're charged. Either way, move over within 30 days of the web app closing to keep your price. We'll email you before it closes, with how to move.
Cherrie's Corner is for members only. Every signed-in member of the beta can see what you post there; the public and search engines can't. Your posts show the display name you choose, which starts as the first name you gave Cherrie, with your last initial if you gave your last name.
Be kind. No harassment, hate or bullying, and no comments on anyone's body, weight, size or looks.
Keep it to training and support. No selling, ads or links to buy things, and no diet plans, calorie targets or medical advice for other members.
Keep people's information private, yours included: no addresses, phone numbers or anything someone told you in confidence.
Photos. You can add a photo to a post, and a picture beside your name. They follow these photo rules:
By posting a photo, you confirm it's yours to share and that anyone in it agreed. Before a photo appears, Cherrie, our AI, checks it against these rules. One that clearly breaks a rule isn't posted or kept, and you're told which rule, so you can post without it. One it isn't sure about waits for us to look at it, and only you can see it until then. Your phone leaves out where a photo was taken before it's sent, and we keep only the picture.
Some posts wait before they appear. If a post looks like it mentions self-harm, disordered eating or a crisis, or its photo looks like it shows self-harm, it waits for us to read it before anyone else sees it, and Cherrie sends you a private message with ways to get support straight away.
Report anything that worries you with the Report button, on a post, a reply or someone's picture. A reported photo or picture is hidden until we've looked at it. We can hide or remove posts and photos that break these rules, and close the account of anyone who keeps breaking them.
Your posts are yours. You can delete any of them, and your picture, at any time, and deleting your account deletes all of your posts, replies and photos.
You choose how Cherrie reaches you, in Settings, under Notifications and reminders, and you can change it at any time.
Emails. We email you about your account, your place in the beta and your deposit, and send the reminders and weekly note set in Settings, which you can change or turn off there. They come from hello@coachedbycherrie.com, never mention your health, and you can reply to any of them.
Notifications. Only if you turn them on and your phone allows them. They say only what you're training and when, a nudge to start or to log it, that your check-in is due, what your week ahead holds, that your deposit is on its way back, that it's been a few days since you used Cherrie, or that Cherrie has a note for you, never your health. Turn them off in Settings or in your phone's settings.
Texts from Cherrie. These are the terms of Cherrie's texting program:
AI can be wrong. Cherrie's replies can contain mistakes, including ones that sound confident. Check anything that matters to you, and never rely on Cherrie for anything medical.
Tell us. If a reply, a plan or a number looks wrong, tell us in Beta feedback in Settings, or reply to any of Cherrie's emails. It comes straight to us, and we read every one.
If you break these terms, we can remove what you posted, limit what you can do, or close your account, as Ending your account describes.
We coach you, not their program. If you follow a program, class, studio, coach or app run by someone else, Cherrie coaches you around it: your week, your recovery and the loads you report. We don't review, endorse, correct or take responsibility for anyone else's program, or its content, safety or results.
No affiliation. We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any program, app, studio, gym, brand or coach named in Cherrie. Their names and marks belong to their owners, and we use them only to identify training you've told us you do. We receive no commission, referral fee or sponsorship from any of them. If that ever changes, we'll say so plainly, first.
We don't copy their material. We don't reproduce, host or adapt anyone else's workouts, programming, video or writing, or present it as ours. If you want to follow someone else's program, you get it from them, on their terms. A plan you paste in is used only to coach you: it's kept with your account, only you see it, and Cherrie's AI reads it when it answers you.
Facts, not opinions. Anything we say about another program will be fact we can check, or we'll tell you we don't know. We won't judge the quality, safety or effectiveness of programming we can't see.
Their sessions are theirs. We can't see training we didn't design, how it's taught or where it happens, so we're not responsible for injury or loss from another party's program, class, facility or coach, including when we've adjusted your week around it. Nothing here limits our responsibility for our own coaching.
What you tell us about it stays with us. We use what you tell us about your other training only to coach you. We never share it with the program concerned, or contact them about you.
Your data is yours. What you put into Cherrie — your answers, logs, notes and posts — belongs to you. You let us store and use it to run Cherrie for you, as our Privacy Policy and health information policy describe, and to show your posts to other members in Cherrie's Corner. You can ask us for a copy at any time.
Your training helps Cherrie get better. By using Cherrie, you also let us learn from your training (the sessions you do, shorten and skip, the weights you lift, which changes to your plan kept you training, apart from any change made because of something you told Cherrie about your health, and which quiet-day notes were followed by a session), with your name taken off, to make Cherrie better for every woman. We only ever look at totals: never one woman's record, never a total from fewer than 20 women, and never one that could be worked out by subtracting one total from another. Your health answers, and the changes made because of them, are used this way only if you say yes, as our health information policy explains. None of it is ever sold or used for ads.
Cherrie is ours. The app, this site, Cherrie's coaching, plans, writing and design belong to Renna Labs, LLC, apart from the US Department of Agriculture's public-domain food data and typefaces we use under their licenses. You may use them for your own training while you're a member; please don't copy, sell or share them.
Your ideas. If you send us feedback or ideas, you let us use them to improve Cherrie, for good and without owing you anything for them. We won't name you as their source, or quote you, without your yes.
When your 12 weeks are up, Cherrie may ask you, once, whether you'd write a sentence about them that we may quote. It's entirely up to you: saying no changes nothing, and nothing is given in exchange.
If you write one and check the box, you allow us to show it on our website, exactly as you wrote it, with your first name and last initial. We read every one before it's used, and we may decide not to use it. We never quote your weight, measurements or photos. To take yours down at any time, tell us in Beta feedback, and we will.
It's a beta. Features may change, break, pause or stop while we build Cherrie, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. We'll tell you about changes that matter to you. Beta feedback is the best way to tell us what isn't working.
After the 12 weeks. If you'd like to keep using Cherrie, the web app is $9.99 a month after the beta, as The beta, and your deposit describes. If you don't continue, Cherrie stops coaching you from March 29, 2027, but you can still sign in for 90 days to see your history, ask us for a copy of it, or subscribe and carry on where you left off. After those 90 days, we delete your account and everything held for it, and we email you a week before we do.
You can leave at any time. Choose Delete my account at the bottom of Settings: you'll see what's deleted, then check one box to confirm. Your account and what's held for you are deleted straight away, as our Privacy Policy describes, and your deposit still goes back to your card on March 29, 2027, with everyone's. You can also ask us to delete it at hello@coachedbycherrie.com.
We can close an account if someone breaks these terms or the rules for Cherrie's Corner, if the law requires it, if it belongs to someone under 18 or someone who doesn't live where the beta is available, if its only payment came after the beta ended, or if we end the beta. We'll tell you why, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it, and we refund your deposit as The beta, and your deposit describes. A closed account is deleted 30 days after we close it, so a mistake can be put right first, or straight away if it belongs to someone under 18.
Cherrie is provided "as is" and "as available." As far as the law allows, we make no promises beyond the ones in these terms, including that Cherrie will always be available or free of errors, that its advice will suit you, or that you'll reach any particular result.
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from Cherrie, or for lost data. If we're liable to you for anything else, our total liability is limited to $100, or to what you paid us for Cherrie, apart from your deposit, in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is more.
Nothing in these terms limits our promise to refund your deposit, or any liability the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
We'll tell you before changes to these terms take effect, by email and in the app: at least 30 days ahead for changes that matter to you, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or safety reasons. For the web app's price or renewal, its own paragraph, under The beta, and your deposit, says how we tell you. If you don't agree with a change, you can delete your account before it takes effect, and your deposit still goes back to your card on March 29, 2027.
Talk to us first. If something's wrong, email hello@coachedbycherrie.com, and we'll try to put it right within 30 days.
The law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, apart from its rules on which law applies. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in New York State, except that either of us can bring a claim in small claims court. This doesn't take away any rights the law where you live gives you.
These terms, with our Privacy Policy and health information policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Cherrie. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part straight away, we can still enforce it later. We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control, like an outage at one of our providers, though we'll do what we reasonably can to keep Cherrie running and your information safe. We send formal messages about these terms to the email on your account; you can send yours to hello@coachedbycherrie.com. You can't transfer your account or these terms to anyone else; we can transfer them only with Coached by Cherrie itself, under the same promises.

What Coached by Cherrie collects about you, why, who else handles it, and what you can do about it — in plain words, without marketing. Your health information has a policy of its own, linked below.
Your health answers, training logs, check-ins, cycle logs, what you log in Nutrition, body composition and your conversations with Cherrie are covered by . It says what we collect about your health, why, who handles it and how to delete it. This policy covers everything else. If anything here seems to promise less than that policy, that policy applies.
If you join the waitlist. Your name, email and state; if you choose to answer, which way you'd use Cherrie, whether you've worked with a trainer or coach, what's made you quit before, which fitness tracker you wear and how you heard about us; and, if the link that brought you had a campaign tag on it, that tag. We use your name and email only to tell you about Cherrie and the beta. Your other answers tell us what to build and get right first, and how you heard about us and the campaign tag tell us which ways of telling people about Cherrie work. Our email list provider, Kit, keeps the waitlist. Joining it shows you're interested; it doesn't hold a place. Every email from it has a one-click way to leave.
If you pay the deposit. First, our places page asks which state you live in, to check the beta is available there; your answer isn't kept. Then our payment processor, Stripe, takes your $21 deposit on its own checkout page, with your name, email, billing address and card details. Stripe tells us your name, email and billing address, a reference for the payment, and when you paid. We keep your email, your billing state, the payment's reference and when you paid, and use them to give you your place, to check you live in a state where the beta is available, to email you and to send your refund; when we send it, we keep whether it has gone back. We never see or keep your card number.
Your account. Your email. There's no password: to sign in, you enter your email and we email you a six-digit code that works once, for 10 minutes. We make the code and check it ourselves, and keep it only in scrambled form. Once your code is right, our sign-in provider, Supabase, starts your session. We keep who has a place in the beta (members who paid the deposit, and testers we invited), when you were invited and set up your account, and the reference Supabase gives your sign-in, so deleting your account deletes your sign-in too.
What you agreed to. When you set up your account, you check four boxes: that you're 18 or over, that you live in the state you chose, that you agree to our Terms of Service and this policy, and that you agree Cherrie uses the health information you give, including about your menstrual cycle, to shape your training. A fifth box is up to you: whether we may also use your health answers, with your name taken off, to make Cherrie better for every woman; the health policy explains it. We keep the words you agreed to, their version, your state and when, so we can show you in Settings and ask again if those words change in a way that matters.
Using the app. What you save in the app is kept with your account, so it's there on any device you sign in on; the health policy says what that includes. To run the beta, we also keep:
If you send feedback or email us. What you write in Beta feedback comes to us with your email, so we can reply. Emails to hello@coachedbycherrie.com, including replies to Cherrie's emails, arrive in our inbox at Google (Google Workspace). We use them to answer you and to fix what's wrong.
If you turn on notifications. Your browser gives us an address for your phone's notifications and two keys to encrypt them with, which we keep while they work.
If you turn on texts. Your mobile number; the code that confirmed it, kept only in scrambled form; when you said yes and the exact wording you agreed to; whether texts are on or stopped; and what you text back. Texts from Cherrie, below, says more.
Messages we send you. A record of each reminder and note we send you by notification, text or email — what it was, when and which way it went, and for a notification, whether your phone showed it and whether you tapped or cleared it — so nothing goes twice, we can tell when one doesn't reach you, and a quiet-day note you've tapped or cleared, or answered by opening the app, isn't followed by a text or an email. For the beta's one question, we also use it, counted only in totals, to see how often a quiet-day note was followed by a session within two days, and how many members had a reminder or check-in reach them in their first week.
If you post in Cherrie's Corner. Your display name, which starts as the first name you gave Cherrie (with your last initial, if you gave your last name) and which you can change; your posts and replies; which posts you marked Useful; and any post you report. Every signed-in member of the beta sees your posts and replies under your display name, never your email. The health policy explains the posts we read before they appear, and the tips Cherrie may pass on.
If you add a photo or a picture. Your phone first makes it smaller and saves it again, which leaves out where it was taken and the other details a camera writes into a photo; our server takes out any it finds anyway. Before it appears, Cherrie's AI checks it against the photo rules for Cherrie's Corner (in our ); if it isn't sure, we look at it ourselves. We keep the picture, and whether it's up, waiting or hidden, in Cloudflare's storage, and show it only to signed-in members of the beta. It's deleted when you delete the post or the picture, or your account.
If you film a set for Cherrie to watch. Before your first one, you agree once to how Cherrie watches; you can see it in Settings, under What you agreed to, and delete your form checks there, which takes your agreement back too. Your video stays on your phone; we never receive it. On your phone, Cherrie follows the points of your body through each frame, from your shoulders down (the points it finds on your head are used only to blur your face in the stills, and are thrown away as each frame is read), and measures your set: your reps, how long each took, how deep you went, the weight's path, and how your knees and hips moved. Three stills from the video, cropped to you and with your face blurred on your phone first, go with those measurements to Cherrie's AI, only to write Cherrie's answer, and we don't keep them. We keep the measurements and Cherrie's answer with your sessions. Nothing from your video is used to recognize you. The model that reads it runs on your phone, loaded from our own site, and sends nothing to anyone.
If you offer a quote. When your 12 weeks are up, Cherrie may ask, once, whether you'd write a sentence about them that we may quote on our website. Only if you write one and check the box do we keep it, with the name it would show (your first name and last initial) and when you agreed. We read each one before it's used anywhere, use your words exactly as you wrote them, never with your weight, measurements or photos, and give nothing in exchange. Saying no changes nothing. To take yours down, tell us in Beta feedback.
To keep accounts safe. To stop anyone guessing sign-in codes, we count the codes asked for each email address, by the hour and by the day, and from each IP address (the address your device uses on the internet), by the hour; and the tries at each code, and from each IP address by the hour.
Every time you visit. Like any website, ours receives your IP address and browser details with each request. Our host, Cloudflare, handles them to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We don't keep logs of your visits ourselves. Our pages' typefaces come from our own site, so loading them tells no one else you visited.
We use two cookies, and only to keep you signed in: cb_at, which holds your session for up to a day, and cb_rt, which renews it for up to 30 days. They're only ever sent to coachedbycherrie.com, and the page itself can't read them. Signing out deletes both.
If your session runs out while you have changes the app hasn't saved yet, it keeps them in your browser's session storage until you sign back in. Session storage empties when you close the tab.
There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing on our site follows you to other sites. Stripe's checkout page and Kit's sign-up form may set cookies of their own, under their own policies.
Analytics. On our public pages (the home page, the questions page, the places page and these policies), we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, from our host, Cloudflare. It sees which page was visited, the site that sent you there, and your browser, device type and country. It uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and doesn't follow you to other sites, and we see only totals. There's no analytics tool in the app.
Cherrie's texts are optional. They come from Coached by Cherrie, run by Renna Labs, LLC, through our text provider, Twilio. To turn them on, you add your US mobile number in Settings, check a box that's never checked for you, and confirm the number with a code. The box says:
We never sell or share your mobile number, or your texting opt-in and consent, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your texting opt-in and consent are never shared with any third party. Twilio receives your number and each text only to deliver them for us. The set out the texting program in full.
These companies process information for us, only to run Coached by Cherrie and only under contract. What each receives of your health information is in the health policy.
One more receives a little: USDA FoodData Central, the US Department of Agriculture's public food database, receives the words you search for in Nutrition and nothing about you.
If you talk to Cherrie instead of typing, your browser turns what you say into text, and depending on your browser, its maker (Google, Apple or Microsoft) may do that on its own servers, under its own terms; Listen reads replies aloud in your device's voices, some of which come from the same services. Beyond these, we share information only if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety. If Renna Labs is ever merged or sold, your information would move only under this policy's promises, and we'd tell you before it did, so you could delete your account first.
To run the beta, our view of it shows who's in; when each member paid, was invited and set up, and the state on her payment; whether her deposit has gone back; when she last opened the app; for each of the beta's 12 weeks, whether she trained in it and whether she stayed in touch with Cherrie, only that she did; whether texts are on and how many phones get notifications; feedback; quotes and whether each is approved; Cherrie's Corner posts waiting to be read or reported, with who wrote them, and any photo with them; profile pictures waiting for a look or reported; and why Cherrie held a photo, including that it may show self-harm. Beyond those weeks, it shows nothing from any one member's health answers, logs or conversations. For the beta's one question, it shows how many members are on track and, once the 12 weeks are over, consistent; and, only as totals from 20 women or more, the answers to Cherrie's first-week question about the 12 weeks before the beta and to its two week-12 questions, and how often a quiet-day note was followed by training. For the beta's first week, once, on January 14, 2027, and only as totals from 20 women or more: how many members, by their seventh day, had their plan shaped by a first-week answer, a change made for their week, a reminder or check-in at their time, their choice of how they eat and an answer from Coach, and how many had all five. To make Cherrie better, it also shows totals, with names taken off: of every member's training, and of the health answers of members who said yes (a change to a plan made because of a health answer counts as one). Never one member's information, never a total from fewer than 20 women, and never one that could be worked out from other totals. We look at anything else you've saved only if you ask us to, to fix something that's broken, or if the law requires it. Today one person, who runs Renna Labs, can reach our database and our providers' accounts, each behind two-step sign-in.
Choose Delete my account at the bottom of Settings, and we delete from our database straight away: your account, everything you've saved, your posts and replies (with any replies to your posts), your feedback, your quote, your number, your notification subscriptions, the record of messages we sent you, what you agreed to at setup and the counts that protect your sign-in. Our sign-in provider deletes your sign-in too. Before anything is deleted, the app shows you what goes and asks you to check a box to confirm, and it only tells you your account is deleted once it is. If our sign-in provider or our storage doesn't answer at that moment, we keep only the reference to what's left, never your email, and try again every hour until it's gone.
One thing stays for a while. If you paid a deposit, it still goes back to your card on March 29, 2027, with everyone's. We keep your email and a note that it's owed to you for 60 days, and after that only the payment's reference, without your email, with our payment records, so we can still send it.
Our host keeps backups so the database can be restored after a fault, and what you deleted is gone from them within 30 days. Stripe keeps its payment records as the law requires. Brevo keeps its record of the emails we sent you for one month, and Twilio its record of your texts for 30 days (anything you text besides GO, LATER, DONE, SKIP, HELP, START or STOP, and any photo or video, we delete from Twilio as soon as it reaches us), as Who else handles it says. Your health information is deleted as the health policy says.
Email hello@coachedbycherrie.com for any of these. We'll reply within 30 days, and we'll never treat you differently for asking. If the law where you live gives you more rights over your information, ask, and we'll honor them.
Everything travels over an encrypted connection. Your session cookies can't be read by the page or sent to other sites; sign-in codes and text codes are kept only in scrambled form; notifications are encrypted so only your phone can read them; and the site only ever reads or saves your data for your own account. No system is perfectly secure. If something goes wrong that affects your information, we'll tell you promptly, as the law requires.
Coached by Cherrie is for adults aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger, and if we learn we have, we delete it.
During the beta, Coached by Cherrie is available in the United States except California, Washington, Nevada and Connecticut. Your account and what you save are kept in North America; where each of our providers keeps what it receives is in Who else handles it, above.
We'll tell you, by email and in the app, before we change this policy in a way that matters to you, and the date at the top will change. If a change means using your information in a new way, we'll ask you first.
